This writ petition assails a final assessment order dated July 29, 2026 passed under Section 126 of the Electricity Act, 2003 which is assailable before the Appellate Authority under Section 127 thereof. 2. Although an alternative remedy is not a bar to this Court exercising writ jurisdiction yet since, this case does not involve any public law element and does not fall within any of the well settled exceptions justifying invocation of the highly prerogative writ jurisdiction of this Court, this writ petition is not entertained. 3. The petitioner left free to approach Appellate Authority under Section 127 of the 2003 Act in accordance with law. 4. WPA 24349 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs. ( Om Narayan Rai, J. )
