ORAL ORDER
1. Accused No.3 in Crime No.282 of 2026 registered by R.T. Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City for offences punishable under Sections 118(2) and 109 read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023 is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 seeking regular bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
3. FIR in Crime No.282 of 2026 was registered by R.T. Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City for the aforesaid offences against Kiran and others, based on the first information dated 02.08.2026 submitted by Smt. Parveen, who is the mother of the injured victim Sri Umar Fayaz. In the said case, the petitioner was arrested on 03.08.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.7963 of 2026 was rejected on
20.08.2026. Therefore, he is before this Court.

4. In the first information which is submitted by the mother of the injured victim, it is stated that, on 01.08.2026, her son who is injured in the present case, who had gone out, had not returned home even after midnight. Attempts made to reach him over mobile phone had failed. Subsequently, she came to know that her son was assaulted by some persons and he was shifted to Bowring hospital, Bengaluru. Thereafter, the first informant went to the hospital and on enquiry, she came to know that her son was assaulted by persons named in the FIR.
5. The wound certificate of the injured victim has been produced by the learned HCGP, which would go to show that, in the hospital he was admitted with a history of assault made by unknown persons. The victim has suffered three injuries out of which, one injury is said to be grievous injury, which is fracture of tibia. The said injury is not caused on any vital part of the victim's body. The victim who was admitted in the hospital on 02.08.2026 was discharged from the hospital on 05.08.2026 and his condition is said to be stable. It is stated that the petitioner has no other criminal antecedents. Major portion of

the investigation is already completed. Accordingly, the following:
ORDER (i) Criminal petition is allowed. (ii) The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.282 of 2026 registered by R.T. Nagar Police Station, Bengaluru City for offences punishable under Sections 118(2) and 109 read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses;

d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future. e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said Court until the case registered against him is
