By filing this interlocutory application, the applicant, who is the petitioner in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No.581/2025, has prayed for impleadment of the respondent no.3 in his current official status. 3. It is projected that the respondent no.3, who was earlier the Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home & Political Department is presently serving as the Director, Census Operations, Directorate of Census Operations, Assam, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, whose particulars are given in the second cause title of this interlocutory application. 4. Accordingly, the prayer made in this interlocutory application stands allowed to the extent of allowing impleadment of the existing respondent no.3 in his current official status. 5.
Insofar as the other prayers are concerned, it would not be appropriate to pass any order in this interlocutory application. Accordingly, the applicant is at liberty to renew those prayers when the contempt petition is
