This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner Page No.# 2/2 Shafikul Islam @ Jahidul Islam has prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in connection with Special POCSO Case No.82/2025 arising out of Kalgachia Case No.107/2025 pending in the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Barpeta. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he has sexually abused a minor girl. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. I have gone through the materials available in the case record. 5. In view of the above, the bail application of the petitioner is rejected and stands disposed of accordingly.
