HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION (PIL) No. - 1208 of 2026 Chief Justice's Court HON'BLE ARUN BHANSALI, CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE KSHITIJ SHAILENDRA, J.
1. This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner, an Advocate, seeking a direction to the respondents to publish the marks and cut-off marks of L.T. Grade Teachers Examination 2025 and provide copies of evaluated answer sheets to the candidates by ensuring transparency in future recruitment examination.
2. A perusal of the petition indicates that except for indicating that petitioner is an Advocate, no credentials have been indicated in the petition as to how the petitioner, an Advocate, has any cause in relation to L.T. Grade Teachers Examination 2025.
3. Apparently, on someone approaching the petitioner as an Advocate, the present petition has been filed by becoming a petitioner, by the petitioner as an Advocate.
4. Filing of petitions by Advocates as PIL in relation to the cause for which, they have no concern whatsoever, is essentially misusing the position as an Advocate, which cannot be countenanced.
5. Warning the petitioner to take care in future, the petition is dismissed. May 7, 2026 AHA/Jyotsana Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : In Person Counsel for Respondent(s) :
