P.P. …...... 02/ 24.03.2026: This bail application has been filed by the petitioner under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 17(a), 21(a), 22(a)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned AddI. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. 4. It is alleged that the accused was transporting brown sugar. 5. Admittedly, from the possession of the petitioner no brown sugar or any incriminating articles has been recovered. It is only Rs.3900/- which was recovered, though from the other passengers of the vehicle 1.82 grams of brown sugar has been recovered. 6. Since, no brown sugar was recovered from the possession of this petitioner, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge at Koderma, in connection with Telaiya P.S. Case No.05 of 2026, subject to the condition that one of the bailors should be a close relative of the petitioner, having sufficient landed property in his/her own name within the State of Jharkhand.
