None appears on behalf of either of the parties. 2. No accommodation is sought at the time of call. 3. The petitioner filed this revisional application under Section 482 read with Section 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, praying for expeditious disposal of proceeding being NDPS Case No. 132/2021 arising out of Berhampore Police Station Case No. 681/2021 dated 09.07.2021 under Sections 22(C)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 pending before the learned Special Court under NDPS Act, Berhampore, Murshidabad. 4. Considering the pendency of the case since 2021 and nature of the prayer, it seems it would be proper to dispose of this application as the prayer made by the petitioner is simple and innocuous. Such prayer can be allowed as the right to a speedy trial is a fundamental right derives from Article 21 of the Constitution of India. Furthermore, allowing such prayer would not, definitely, prejudice any of the parties involved. 2 5. There is no impediment in passing such order for expeditious disposal of the proceedings before the Trial Court. 6. With the above observations, CRR/2476/2023 is, thus, disposed of. 7. The Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and finally decide the case in accordance with law to arrive at a logical conclusion, if there is no impediment. 8. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 9. Connected application, if any, is also disposed of. 10. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the learned Court below for information. 11. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of the Calcutta High Court. 12.
