In this petition, the petitioner has sought for the following relief: “Issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 03.09.2025 which is at Annexure - E and further direct respondent No.2 to extend the service weightage to the petitioner, in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents, and perused the material on record. 3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 03.09.2025 at Annexure-E submitted to the respondents has not been considered so far by them, nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:15553 WP No. 37947 of 2025 4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if a reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation in accordance with law. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and joint submissions made by both the sides, I deem it just and proper to dispose of this petition directing the concerned respondents to address the grievance of the petitioner, consider and pass appropriate orders/take appropriate steps/action pursuant to the representation dated 03.09.2025 at Annexure-E submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
