The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with R.C. No. 36(A)/2025-R arising out of F.I.R. No. RC0242025A0015, registered under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018), pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-I-cum-Special Judge, C.B.I, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was posted as Sub-Divisional Inspector on 20.05.2025 at Seraikella Sub-Division. He next submits that allegations are made that one Ranjan Das has demanded Rs. 20,000/- on the instruction of the petitioner and recovery has been made from the possession of Ranjan Das. He further submits that the said Ranjan Das was not working under the petitioner and the said Ranjan Das has requested the informant not to talk regarding money with the petitioner. He also submits that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of co-accused Ranjan Das and money has been recovered ( 2026:JHHC:1548 ) 2 from the possession of Ranjan Das. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.11.2025 and now chargesheet has been submitted and he has got instruction that if the petitioner is granted regular bail he will not tamper with any of the witness. 4. Learned counsel for the C.B.I opposes the prayer and submits that on the instruction of petitioner, one Ranjan Das has demanded money and in view of that submission is made by the learned counsel for the C.B.I not to grant regular bail to the petitioner. 5. Considering that recovery has been made from the possession of one Ranjan Das, petitioner has been made accused on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Ranjan Das, petitioner is in in custody since 13.11.2025, chargesheet has been submitted and it has been pointed out that if the petitioner is granted regular bail he will not tamper with any of the witness I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-I-cum-Special Judge, C.B.I, Ranchi, in connection with R.C.
