Mr. Vaibhav Singh Chauhan, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of respondent. 2. In this petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, prayer has been made for extending the mandate of learned Arbitral Tribunal. Learned counsel for the parties inviting attention to Patel-Gammon Joint Venture versus SJVN Limited2, jointly apprised that mandate of learned Arbitral Tribunal 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Arb. Case No.92/2025, decided on 07.04.2025. 2 was extended previously under the said order by eight months to be reckoned from 15.03.2025. Extension was made taking note of the fact that arbitration case was at the stage of arguments. 3. Learned counsel for the parties submit that though the arguments stand completed, however, written submissions are yet to be made, whereafter the award would be passed and in the entire process, further time of five months shall be required from 15.11.2025. Both the parties are ad idem for extending the mandate of learned Arbitral Tribunal for the aforesaid period. 4. Taking note of the above facts, this petition is allowed. Accordingly, mandate of learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by five months to be reckoned from 15.11.2025.
