By presenting this writ petition petitioners have prayed for direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps based on complaint dated 18th August, 2026 addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Krishnanagar, Nadia. Petitioners alleged overt action on the part of concerned police authorities and according to petitioners mandamus may be issued thereby directing police authorities to take necessary steps which will permit the petitioners to lead normal life without fear. 3. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 6th September, 2026 of Deputy Superintendent of Police (D&T), Krishnagar Police District, Nadia and same is taken on record. 2 4. It is disclosed in the communication that petitioner no. 3 was accused in Kaliganj Police Station Case No. 153 of 2021 dated 27th March, 2021 under Section 25(I-B)(a) Arms Act. 5. It is also submitted on behalf of State respondents that there are certain allegations against petitioners. 6. It appears taking note of respective submissions made on behalf of parties that petitioners have approached this Court with the present writ petition in order to obtain an order which would operate as shield against them and such stand on the part of petitioners is not countenanced. Since one of the petitioners is found to be accused in aforesaid criminal proceeding, prayer of petitioners stand refused. 7. Writ petition stands dismissed 8.
