02/16.03.2026 Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.01.2026 in connection with Nirsa P.S. Case No. 09 of 2026, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B) (a) 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.01.2026 and it is alleged that one fire arm has been recovered upon the confessional statement of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that petitioner has several criminal antecedents of serious nature and fire arm has been recovered upon pointing out of the petitioner from the bush.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner and that fire arms has been recovered upon pointing out by the petitioner, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner above named is rejected.
