Mr. Amartya Mohan Bhattacharyya ….for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits petitioner is in custody since 18.04.2026 and although charge sheet has been submitted but witness action has not commenced. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail, draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the BNSS. Having considered the statement of the victim, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the vulnerable witnesses being the victim along with the witnesses referred as ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘D’ are over. With the aforesaid observations CRM (M) 1904 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
