ORAL ORDER
It is jointly submitted by both the parties that dispute between the parties has been settled amicably. They placed the
judgment passed in Crl.RP.No.437/2023 dated 03.02.2025 which reads as under:
"Both the counsels submit that balance payment in terms of the settlement i.e., an amount of Rs.3,50,000/- is paid by way of two demand drafts and the same is acknowledged by the respondent's

counsel and counsel submits that there is no balance and also filed an affidavit stating that he is not having any other three cheques mentioned therein i.e., cheques bearing Nos.050454, 050455 and
050473. The affidavit of the respondent is taken on record. In view of the receipt of the balance amount by the respondent, the Revision Petition is closed".
Since the allegation in the present FIR is in respect of the same cause of action, proceedings in respect of this FIR cannot be continued. Accordingly, FIR in Crime No.146/2023 dated 18.06.2023 registered by the Siddapur Police Station of Bengaluru City, against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 3 and 4 of Karnataka Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2004 and Section 418, 384, 403, 406 and 420 of IPC, is hereby quashed.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
