The Panchayat and the private respondents are not represented despite service. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted an application before the Prescribed Authority and Sub-Divisional Officer, Domkal Sub-Division under Section 11(1)(c) read with Section 8(c) of the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1973 on August 10, 2026 seeking removal of the 4th respondent. The application is yet to be considered. The petitioner seeks consideration of the same. In view of the above, the Prescribed Authority and Sub-Divisional Officer, Domkal Sub-Division, being the 2nd respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the application submitted by the petitioner dated August 10, 2026 within three weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned, including the petitioner and the private respondent, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the parties within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
