Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been arrested on 14th January, 2026 and he has been earlier arrested and was granted bail in another case Kaliachak Police Station Case No. 58 of 2026. So far as the present case is concerned, another accused, being his brother, has already been granted bail. 2. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner has been evading the process of law for more than six and a half years. He was arrested in connection with Kaliachak Police Station Case No. 58 of 2026, thereafter, shown arrested in the present case. 2 3. Having considered the period for which the petitioner was evading the process of law, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 4. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 5. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1958 of 2026 is dismissed. 6. Memo of evidence submitted be kept with the record. 7.
