Affidavit of service, as filed, be kept with the record. 2. The petitioner is the wife of a deceased employee of respondent no. 2. The petitioner's husband was a permanent employee with the Eastern Coalfields Limited and expired in harness on December 23, 2023. The petitioner has thereafter applied for compassionate appointment, which process is still in progress. 3. Since the process of verification has not yet been completed and is in progress, the respondents will complete the process upon verification of all documents and will also consider the eligibility of the petitioner and take a decision in respect thereof within a period of 12 weeks from date. 4. This shall not create any equity or right in favour of the petitioner to obtain the appointment on compassionate ground. 5. With the directions as afore-stated, the writ-petition is disposed of.
