14.09.2026 Court No.35 Item No.171 ssi CRM (A) 2650 of 2026 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Suraksha Nagarik Sanhita in connection with Chandipur Police Station Case No.142 of 2026 dated 19.05.2026 under Sections 109/115(2)/117(2)/329(3)/351(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. And In the matter of: Biswajit Rauth & others. …. Petitioners. Mr. Navanil De Mr. Subhrajit Dey …for the petitioners Mr. Lokesh Sharma Mr. Rishav Kumar Thakur ..for the State Mr. Sagarmay Ghosh …for the victim Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent who have been falsely implicated in a criminal case on issues relating to dismantling of trees. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. I have taken into account the statements of the injured as well as the injury report. The injured had to be administered five stitches. Having considered the statements of the injured, I am not inclined to extend the benefit of anticipatory bail to the present petitioners. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 2650 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. 2 Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
