Prayer is also made for providing protection to life and property of petitioners. 3) State respondents and respondent nos. 5 to 10 are represented by learned advocates. 4) Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 9th September, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Panskura Police Station, Purba Medinipur and same is taken on record. Copies of said communication are made over to learned advocates representing petitioner and respondent nos. 5 to 10. 2 5) It appears from communication dated 9th September, 2026 that one complaint was lodged on behalf of petitioners which gave rise to criminal prosecution being Panskura Police Station Case No. 676/2026 dated 22nd August, 2026. It is also disclosed that two separate criminal prosecutions were initiated based on two counter complaints. 6) In view of steps taken by concerned police authorities, at this stage no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 7) However, concerned police authorities are directed to maintain peace and tranquility at the locale and to see that no untoward incident takes place. 8) Parties to act on server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
