However, lacunae in investigation in connection with said criminal prosecution are not pointed out requiring direction as prayed for in this writ petition. 2 3) On behalf of the State respondents a communication dated 7th April, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge of Khejuri Police Station is placed before this Court and same is taken on record. Copies of said communication dated 7th April, 2026 are made over to learned advocates representing the petitioner and respondent nos. 12 and 13. 4) Respondent nos. 12 and 13 are represented by learned advocate. 5) Considering the submissions made on behalf of the respondents, it appears that there is allegation of physical assault by son of the petitioner perpetrated on respondent nos. 12 and 13 on 23rd October, 2025. Medical document discloses one of the private respondents namely Pranati Bhunia suffered fracture of left clavicle and partially broken left lower lateral insizer. It also transpires from the record that pre- arrest bail application of son of the petitioner was first rejected by the Sessions Judge, Purba Medinipur on 17th December, 2025 and subsequently by a coordinate Bench of this Court on 6th February, 2026. 6) In addition thereto, it is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that till date son of the petitioner could not be apprehended and he is absconding; therefore no element is found present which warrants transfer of investigation. 7) Hence, Writ petition stands dismissed. 3 8) However, concerned police authority is directed to take necessary steps to take the investigation to its logical conclusion. 9) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
