The Petitioner has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 143/2025, corresponding to S.T. No. 167/2025, registered for the offence under Section 103(1) of B.N.S, pending in the court of Additional Sessions Judge-V, Gumla. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case only to harass and humiliate him. He further submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent he is in jail custody since 10.05.2025; as such, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. 4. Learned A.P.P opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that there are specific allegations against the petitioner. 5. Having regard to the allegations made against this petitioner as well as gravity of the charge, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage.
