Heard both the sides. This bail application filed on behalf of Golu Kumar @ Golu Thakur @ Golu who is in custody since 12.09.2025 in connection with Bank More (Bhuli) P.S. Case No. 219 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 87 and 137(2) of the BNS pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Dhanbad is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the petitioner is not the principal accused in this case and the only allegation against him is that he had felicitated the elopement of victim girl with the principal accused -Sahjad Ansari @ Raja with whom the she contracted marriage. There is no allegation of sexual assault against this petitioner. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the matter involves procurement of a minor girl for the purpose of marriage. However, admittedly Section 96 of BNS has not been made in the present case. Petitioner is aged 20 years and is not the principal accused in the present case. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
