By way of this petition, which is accompanied by an application filed for condonation of 337 days delay in filing the same, a prayer has been made for review of the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.8661 of 2024, titled Ashok Kumar Versus State of H.P. & Ors. 3. A perusal of the documents appended with the petition demonstrates that against this judgment the petitioner has preferred a Letters Patent Appeal which was dismissed as not pressed. This means that the judgment passed by this Court has now attained finality in terms of the withdrawal of the appeal. 4. In this view of the matter, as this Court is satisfied that filing of the review petition is nothing, but an afterthought and there 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:5597 is no justification for condoning the delay, for the reason that it is not as if any liberty was granted by the Hon’ble Division Bench while dismissing the Letters Patent Appeal as withdrawn to pursue the remedy. 5. Accordingly, as this Court does not finds any reason to condone the delay in filing the review petition, the petition as well as application for condonation of delay in filing the same is dismissed, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
