Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. This application has been filed by the petitioner Sri Ajit Das @ Ashit Das for extension of time for appearance before the learned Trial Court. By order dated 27.01.2026 passed in Crl Petition No. 1267/2025, this Court directed the applicant to appear before the learned Additional Sessions Judge (FTC) No. 3, Kamrup (M) in connection with NDPS Case Page No.# 2/2 No. 247/2022 within 15 (fifteen) days from that day. Today, the learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that for some personal reasons the applicant could not appear before the learned Court below within the time framed by this Court and, therefore, prays for another 15(fifteen) days to appear. Considering entire aspect of the matter, prayer of the applicant is allowed. Therefore, the applicant is directed to appear before the learned Additional Sessions Judge (FTC) No. 3, Kamrup (M) in connection with NDPS Case No. 247/2022 within 15 (fifteen) days from today without fail.
