The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that aggrieved by the order dated 27.03.2025 in W.P.Nos.26102 & 25855 of 2019, the State has preferred Writ Appeals in W.A.Nos.1581 & 1583 of 2026 and the Hon’ble Division Bench vide order dated 17.06.2026, while admitting the Writ Appeal had granted interim stay. Since, the order against which the present Contempt is filed is subject matter of the Writ Appeal, wherein stay is also operating, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in proceeding with the Contempt Petitions. 3. Accordingly, the Contempt Petitions are closed.
