Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been detained unnecessarily for more than two years three months. 2. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there has been recovery of 2 kg 6 gm of brown sugar from the present petitioner. 3. Be that as it may, the period undergone do call for interference of this Court. 4. State is directed to take steps so that at least the seizure list witnesses are examined within a reasonable period of time preferably within a period of four months from the next date fixed. 2 5. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage. 6. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1965 of 2026 is dismissed. 7.
