Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.75/2026 was registered by Urva Police Station, Dakshina Kannada, Mangaluru for the aforesaid offences against the petitioners herein and others, based on the first information dated 13.07.2026 received from respondent No.2-Siddappa Naranoor, who is a Police Officer attached to Urva Police Station, Dakshina Kannada District. During the course of investigation, accused Nos.1 and 2 were arrested on 15.07.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. Their bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.650/2026 was rejected on 05.08.2026. Therefore, they are before this Court. 4. Perusal of the material on record would go to show that the petitioners herein, who hail from West Bengal State, allegedly had brought along with them some - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010572832026 NC: 2026:KHC:50375 CRL.P No. 12664 of 2026 illegal immigrants, who are from Bangladesh and had provided them employment in Mangaluru in a construction company by producing forged documents in support of their identification. The alleged act committed by the accused persons touches upon the integrity and security of the nation. Investigation of the case is still pending consideration. Under the circumstances, at this stage, the prayer made by the accused persons to enlarge them on regular bail cannot be entertained. ORDER The Criminal Petition is dismissed.
