By presenting this writ petition prayer is made for directing the concerned police authority to register FIR taking note of the complaint lodged. 2. Mr. Indrajit Roy Chowdhury, learned Additional Government Pleader representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 8th September, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Uluberia Police Station, Howrah and same is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 8th September, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing petitioner. 3. It is disclosed in the said communication that taking note of the complaint lodged, FIR was registered being Uluberia P.S. Case no.707/ 2026 dated 6th September, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS. It is also stated in the communication that FIR named accused person was arrested on 6th September, 2026. 4. In view of steps taken by the concerned police authority at this stage no further order need be passed on this writ petition. 5. Writ petition stands disposed of. 6. However, this order shall not preclude petitioner to approach appropriate forum, if occasion so arises. [2] 7.
