By presenting this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for direction upon the concerned police authority to expedite the investigation in Bhadreswar P.S. Case no.400/ 2025 dated 25th November, 2025. 3. It is submitted by Mr. Moyukh Mukherjee, learned advocate representing petitioner that in spite of registering FIR in the month of November, 2025 and commencement of investigation, still report is not filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate. 4. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 7th September, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Bhadreswar Police Station, Chandannagar Police Commissionerate and same is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 7th September, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing petitioner. 5. It is disclosed in the communication that notice under Section 94 of BNSS was issued to HDFC Bank directing production of necessary documents for [2] investigation. Subsequently, investigating officer seized original notarized Deed of Agreement for Sale dated 23rd March, 2022 from the complainant and seizure list was prepared and entire procedure was video-graphed. It also appears that notice was issued on 11th January, 2026 under Section 94 of BNSS to the Nodal Officers of Axis Bank and Lakshmi Vilas Bank demanding relevant account details. 6. It further appears from the said communication that subsequently, there was change of investigating officer due to transfer. Thereafter, present investigating officer issued notices under Section 179 of BNSS on 21st June, 2026 and 29th June, 2026. It also discloses that though raids were conducted but accused persons could not be apprehended. 7. On perusal of communication dated 7th September, 2026 disclosing steps taken by the investigating officer, Court directs that investigation needs to be expedited and take the same to its logical conclusion by submitting report before the jurisdictional Magistrate. This Court expects that further effort shall be made to apprehend the accused persons. 8. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach jurisdictional Magistrate, if so advised. 9.
