ORAL ORDER
1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo with settlement agreement. Memo reads as under:
"The undersigned is herewith producing the
Order sheet in O.S No.15/2022 on the file of Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Gowribidanur and the application under Order 23 Rule 3 read with Section 151 of CPC which discloses that the respondents No.1 and 2 have amicably settled the matter regarding monetary claims. Hence the above case may be disposed recording the settlement. Hence the same may be taken on record in the interest of justice."

2. The memo with settlement agreement is placed on record.
3. Smt. Sandhya V. Prabhu, learned counsel representing the contesting respondent No.2 has no objection to allow the petition.
4. Sri. Mohana Chandra P., learned counsel however representing respondent No.1 would submit that the name of the child born to respondent Nos.1 and 2 need to be entered in the Service Register of respondent No.2 which is yet to be completed.
5. As per the settlement, the parties are required to adhere to the terms of the settlement, for which the petitioner has no role to play.
6. Accordingly, there is no impediment for this court to dispose of the present petition by applying the

principles of law enunciated in Ram Gopal and another Vs. State of Madhya Pradesh1.
7. It is also settled principles of law that the jurisdiction of this Court both under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India and 482 of Cr.P.C, can be extended in respect of the proceedings filed under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
8. As such, the following:
ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed in terms of the compromise petition and pending proceedings in DVA No.3/2019 on the file of Additional City Civil Judge and JMFC, Gowribidanur, is hereby quashed. ii. If there is any violation in the settlement terms, the parties are at liberty to file

necessary application before the competent Court in accordance with law. iii. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
