The petitioner is an accused in connection with Basantrai P.S. Case No. 82 of 2025. It has been alleged that one Parvej Alam along with some miscreants had abducted the daughter of the informant, but subsequently she was recovered from Purnia. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named and has been implicated on the confessional statement of Parvej Alam. It has further been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 26.10.2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the age of the victim was assessed to be 13 years. Learned A.P.P. further submits that the petitioner has also confessed. Regard being had to the manner of implication, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Godda in connection with Basantrai P.S.
