It appears from the report submitted by the State that pursuant to a complaint lodged by the petitioner to the effect that he is restrained from discharging his duty as pump operator by unknown persons who put a padlock to the pump house, the Assistant Engineer, Haldia Electrical Sub-Division and the Block Development Officer, Ramnagar- II Development Block have brought the issue to the notice of the Sub-Divisional Officer, Contai Sub Division. The Block Development Officer has also lodged a complaint before the Officer in Charge, Ramnagar Police Station in this regard. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that no further step has been taken by the authorities in order to enable him to resume his service. In view of the fact that the Assistant Engineer and the Block Development Officer, have taken necessary steps in connection with the allegation made by the petitioner, nothing further remains to be dealt with in the present application. In the event the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the police authority, he is at liberty to take necessary steps before the appropriate forum. The writ petition is disposed of.
2 There shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
