03/ 06.02.2026: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 118 of 2025, registered under sections 80(2), 3 (5) of BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased and she has committed suicide by way of hanging herself in a room. He further submits that there are general and omnibus allegations of demand of dowry and eye witness have stated that on the fateful day quarrel has taken place between husband and wife. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that quarrel has taken place between husband and wife on the fateful day.

Considering that petitioner is husband of the deceased and deceased has committed suicide by way of hanging herself in a room. The statement of witness-Rameshwar Rajak has been recorded under section 180 of BNSS, 2023 which is part of the case diary in whcih he has stated that good relation was there between husband and wife. day quarrel has taken place between husband and wife.

In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Koderma, in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 118 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
