By the present writ petition the petitioner seeks for direction upon the respondent authorities, particularly respondent no.3 to consider the application of the petitioner in terms of Government Circular being G.O. No.559/ES/E dated 6th July, 2015 and any other Circulars for appointment on compassionate ground. 3. The petitioner contends that her husband, namely, Mustaque Ahamed, was an Assistant Teacher in Kharampur F.P. School under Hasnabad Circle, District-North 24-Parganas who died-in-harness on 24th January, 2024 leaving behind the petitioner and one minor son as his legal heirs. On 23rd June, 2025 the petitioner made a representation before the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), North 24- Parganas for her appointment on compassionate ground. However, the same is still pending consideration. Hence this writ petition. 4. Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that matter be relegated to the appropriate authority for due consideration. 5. Mr. Tulshi Das Ray, learned Advocate appearing for State concedes to such submission. 6. In view of such submission, respondent no.3, District Inspector of Schools (PE), North 24-Parganas is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23rd June, 2025 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order, upon notice to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. In the event, the petitioner is found to be entitled, then necessary consequential steps be taken accordingly. 7. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondent no.3, District Inspector of Schools (PE), North 24-Parganas for necessary action. 8. With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 22411 of 2025 stands disposed of. 2 9. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 11. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 12. There shall be no order as to costs. 13. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 14.
