Admittedly, the said application is yet to be considered by the respondent. Even prior to passing final orders on the petitioner's application seeking for building sanction, the impugned notice has been issued. 3.Mr.S.Muthusamy, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner’s application seeking for building sanction is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Only if the building of the petitioner is an unauthorised construction, the question of issuing the impugned notice will arise. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 25.03.2026, which has been filed as a document along with this writ petition by the petitioner, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
