Diwakar Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner, and Mr. Kambhampati Ramesh Babu, learned counsel for respondent No.1. 2. Petitioner is aggrieved by the action of respondent Nos.1, 4 and 5 in not furnishing the information as sought for by him vide applications dated 25.01.2025 and 08.09.2025 under Section 6(1) of Right to Information Act, 2005. Petitioner is stated to have sought for the details of persons who have been granted pattas in respect of Sy.No.235 of Lingala Village, Veerapunayunipalle Mandal, YSR Kadapa District. The 5th respondent, though received applications, did not furnish the information as sought for. Petitioner then was constrained to prefer first appeal before first appellate authority on 19.09.2025. As there was no response from the first appellate authority, petitioner eventually preferred second appeal. Even the second appellate authority also has not taken any steps. In view of the same, the petitioner preferred the present writ petition seeking for direction to aforesaid respondents to furnish the information as sought for. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for 1st respondent/second appellate authority, on written instructions, states that as the second appeal preferred by writ petitioner was not in accordance with the provisions of Right to Information Act, 2005, the appeal has been forwarded to General Section and the same has already been intimated to the writ petitioner vide communication dated 05.05.2026. It is further stated that unless the appeal is properly filed, the 1st respondent will not be in a position to dispose the same. 4 4. Learned counsel for petitioner, therefore, states that necessary steps would be taken to ensure that the appeal is presented in proper form within two weeks from today and once the same is presented, the 1st respondent may be permitted to dispose of the appeal in accordance with law. 5. In view of aforesaid submissions, no purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. 6. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to present the appeal in proper form before the 1st respondent within two weeks from today and on such presentation and once the appeal is in order, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the said appeal within a period of two months thereafter in accordance with law. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
