And In the matter of : Kanu Dey Sarkar @ Akhil Dey Sarkar ……Petitioner. Mr. Kaushik Chowdhury Mr. Dwaipayan Panda ….for the Petitioner. Mr. Palash Chandra Poddar Mr. Arijit Bhusan Bagchi ….for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody from 14th July, 2026. Charge sheet has already been submitted before the jurisdictional Court. As such, petitioner be released on bail as he is aged about 65 years. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary, drawn the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim and the Medico Legal Examination. Having considered the Medico Legal Examination Report, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 2 As such, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 1955 of 2026 is rejected. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
