For Petitioner : Mr.T.Balachandran For Respondents : Mr.A.Selvendran for R1 to R5, R9 Special Government Pleader Mr.V.Venkata Seshaiyan for R6 to R8 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.16264 of 2026 O R D E R By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to remove the trees in Survey No.6 from the tenth respondent and presuming to consider the proceeding order in vide NAKA No.AA/1/2045/2025 dated 12.11.2025 passed by the fourth respondent. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representation dated 21.08.2025 to the first respondent seeking to remove the trees and the first respondent forwarded the same to the fourth respondent and after enquiry, the fourth respondent passed proceedings dated 12.11.2025, however, the same has not yet been implemented. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the fourth respondent to implement the proceedings dated 12.11.2025, within a reasonable time frame. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.16264 of 2026 4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to implement the proceedings dated 12.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of.
