Sri T. D. Phani Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.7, would submit that a coordinate Bench of this Court, in Crl.P. No.13478 of 2025, by order dated 02.02.2026, granted liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the learned jurisdictional Magistrate concerned within one week and to file an appropriate application, and further directed the learned Magistrate to dispose of the said application, in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to both sides, within a period of one week. Learned counsel would further submit that the present petition is filed seeking extension of time for surrender before concerned the learned jurisdictional Magistrate and for a direction for expeditious disposal of the application to be filed by the petitioner. 3. Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. Considering the above submissions made, this Court is inclined to dispose of the present Criminal Petition. 5. In the result, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to surrender before the learned jurisdictional Magistrate concerned within a period of one (01) week from this day and to file an appropriate application. Upon such filing, the learned Magistrate shall consider and dispose of the same, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, after affording reasonable opportunity to both sides.
