ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in threatening to dispossess the petitioners from the land an extent of Ac.2.45 cents in Sy.No.1404 situated in Eedupalli Village, Nagaram Mandal, Bapatla District, without issuing/passing any notice or order and its proposed action to conduct auction in respect of the said land is illegal, violation of principles of natural justice, violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions of the Act 1987 and consequently direct the 4th respondent not to dispossess the petitioners from the above land and not to proceed with the proposed auction and pass such other order or orders.…”
2. The short grievance of the petitioners is that they are the cultivating tenants of the land admeasuring Ac.2.45 cents in Sy.No.1404 situated in Eedupalli Village, Nagaram Mandal, Bapatla District. The respondents have issued a certificate of confirmation of tenancy in favour of the petitioners for the period 2025-2026. Despite the same, the respondents are threatening to evict the petitioners forcibly without following due process of law.
3. Heard Sri Kochiri Raja Sekhar, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments appearing on behalf of the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice to direct the respondents to follow due process of law.

Learned counsel for respondents does not refute the said submission

In view of the above submissions, without going into merits of the matter, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to issue notice to the petitioners and follow the due procedure contemplated under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987. Till issuance of notice, the respondents are directed to maintain Status Quo existing as on today. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
