Pursuant to work orders issued by the Block Development Officer, Ratua-I Development Block, the petitioner completed the entire work allotted to him and submitted bills for the same. Satisfactory completion of the work was certified by the concerned authorities including the Block Development Officer, Ratua-I Development Block and Junior Engineer (SSM), Ratua-I Development Block. However, the bills are yet to be cleared. The petitioner seeks disbursal of the dues. In view of the fact that satisfactory completion of the work done by the petitioner has been certified by the concerned authorities and the claim of the petitioner has also been forwarded to the Officer in Charge, Election Section, Malda and the District Planning Officer, Malda, the Block Development Officer, Ratua-I Development Block, being the 8th respondent herein, is directed to disburse the entire dues of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order subject to the petitioner complying with requisite formalities. With the above observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh,J) 2
