1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioner is taken on record.
2. Matter is taken up for consideration in terms of order dated 31st August, 2026 in presence of learned advocates representing petitioner and State respondents.
3. Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication dated 14th September, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, English Bazar Police Station, Malda and same is taken on record. Copy of the said communication dated 14th September, 2026 is made over to learned advocate representing petitioner.
4. Learned advocate representing petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 31st August, 2026 arrangements were made by concerned police authority facilitating petitioner’s stay along with her family members at the premises in question. At present petitioner along with her family members are staying at the said premises. It is also disclosed from the communication dated 14th September, 2026 that FIR is drawn up being English Bazar P.S. Case no.1676/ 2026 dated 7th September, 2026.

5. Concerned police authority is directed to investigate the case expeditiously and file report before the jurisdictional Magistrate.
6. In view of submissions made on behalf of parties, it appears that grievance of petitioner is redressed.
7. Writ petition stands disposed of.
8. However, concerned police authorities are directed to provide assistance to petitioner, if it is required in future.
9. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
