Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the notice dated 9th January, 2026 was issued by the petitioner to the office of the District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Paschim Medinipur, however, the of the Additional District Magistrate & District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Paschim Medinipur passed the impugned order dated 23rd June, 2026 without giving an opportunity of being heard. Learned counsel submits that perusal of the order 23rd June, 2026 would indicate that the petitioner was not got a chance to represent his case. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents/State submits that the concerned authority shall pass a reasoned order after giving the petitioner an opportunity of being heard. 2 4. In view of the submissions made, let the opportunity of being heard be given to the petitioner in terms of notice dated 9th January, 2026. The hearing be concluded within a period of four weeks after issuing a fresh notice to the petitioner. The concerned authority shall pass a reasoned order after hearing both concerned parties. The order so passed shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks of the passing of such order. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. 6.
