And In the matter of : Subhankar Mahanti ……Petitioner. Mr. Bikash Ranjan Bhattacharyya, Sr. Adv. Ms. Satabdi Das Mr. Rahul Deb Goenka ….for the Petitioner. Mr. Rajendra Banerjee, Ld. APP Mr. Somnath Adhikary ….for the State. Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected. Petitioner was directed to renew the prayer for bail after the evidence of the victim girl was over. State has pointed as also the order sheets reflects that there are two victim girls. Still the evidence has not been completed, the two victim girl’s cross examination is pending. 2 Having considered that there are no change of circumstances, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is dismissed. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1916 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
