1. Affidavit of service filed be taken on record. 2. CRAN 6 of 2026 is taken up for hearing along with the criminal revisional application. 3. The petitioner herein has preferred the criminal revision being aggrieved by the impugned Judgment and Order dated 26.04.2024 passed by the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Raghunathpur, Purulia in Criminal Revision No. 22 of 2023, thereby dismissing the same on contest and refusing to interfere with the Order dated 17.10.2023 passed by the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Raghunathpur, Purulia in Misc Case No. 17 of 2023, whereunder the petitioner herein was directed to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month to the Opposite Party No.2
2 and Rs.3,000/- per month to the adult unmarried daughter and Rs. 3,000/- per month to the adult son as their interim maintenance under Section 125 of the Cr. P. C.
4. The opposite party/wife is being represented and admits that both the children in whose favour also maintenance has been granted by the trial court are already major. The petitioner has no objection in respect of payment of interim maintenance to his wife, but has preferred the criminal revisional application praying for modification of the impugned order. 5. On hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the relevant provisions of law, the impugned order is modified to the extent that the petitioner /husband shall continue to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month towards opposite party no.2 (wife). 6. The order granting maintenance @ Rs.3,000/- per month each for the son and daughter who are admittedly major is hereby set aside, since the date they became major. 7. The impugned order is modified accordingly. 8. It is made clear that this order shall not affect the rights of the parties under any other provisions of law. 9. The criminal revisional application along with CRAN 6 of 2026 stands disposed of. 3
10. Learned Trial Court is to proceed expeditiously with the Misc. Case. 11.
