3. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the State submits that, missing daughter of the writ petitioner was recovered. He points out that, initially, the daughter went missing and she was recovered. During the first round, custody of the daughter was made over to her parents. The present writ petition relates to second incident when the daughter of the writ petitioner went missing.
4. Learned Additional Advocate General submits on instructions that this time also the daughter was recovered but she was found pregnant. On the request of the writ petitioner who is the mother, the daughter underwent medical termination of pregnancy. The daughter of the writ petitioner is presently in the hospital.
5. Finding that the writ petitioner was not being represented by an order dated September 7, 2026
2 we requested the State to inform the petitioner as to the pendency of the writ petition.
6. Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the State submits that the Investigating Officer informed the petitioner who is the mother as to the pendency of the writ petition, when the writ petitioner was requesting for medical termination of pregnancy.
7. Learned Additional Advocate General submits on instructions that, the daughter of the writ petitioner recorded a statement under Section 183 BNSS. He submits that, another minor also went away with the daughter of the writ petitioner. Such missing person also recorded under Section 183 of BNSS. He refers to the case diary. He submits that, the husband of the daughter of the writ petitioner was arrested.
8. Since the State took steps as noted above, we are of the view that no further order need be passed in this habeas corpus writ petition.
