Report submitted by the State and the supplementary affidavit used by the alleged contemnor are taken on record. It appears from the report as well as the supplementary affidavit that the disputed portion of the property has been demarcated by the Revenue Inspector, Mandalgram Gram Panchayat. By the order passed on 30th March, 2026 in WPA 10447 of 2025 this Court directed the Pradhan, Mandalgram Gram Panchayat to take necessary steps for demolition of the unauthorised new construction within a stipulated time frame. The State and the alleged contemnor inform that the new construction has been demolished. The affidavit of compliance, supplementary affidavit as well
2 as the report submitted by the State support such contention. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that the order under contempt has been complied with. Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of. As a consequence the application being CAN 1 of 2026 is also disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
