THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S VISHWAJITH SHETTY ORAL ORDER 1. Accused Nos.1 to 3 in Crime No.194/2026 registered by Anekal Police Station, Benglauru, for the offences punishable under Sections 109 read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023, are before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.194/2026 was registered by Anekal Police Station, Bengaluru, for the aforesaid offences against - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010568672026 NC: 2026:KHC:51260 CRL.P No. 12627 of 2026 Suresh and three others, based on the first information dated 14.07.2026 received from Smt. Shashikala, who is one of the injured victim. Apprehending arrest in the case, petitioners herein had approached the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl.Misc.No.5382/2026 was rejected on 31.07.2026. Therefore, they are before this Court. 4. A reading of the first information would reveal that on 13.07.2026 at about 07.00 p.m. accused No.1 - Suresh and Chandra, who is the brother of the first informant had quarreled with each other on some petty issues. Subsequently, the said quarrel was pacified. Thereafter, accused Nos.1 to 4 named in the FIR allegedly came near the house of Chandra and after abusing the inmates of the house, they assaulted Chandra and others. It is in this background, FIR was registered in the present case as against accused Nos.1 to 4 for the aforesaid offences. 5. Learned HCGP has submitted that injured victim has suffered only simple injuries in the incident in question. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010568672026 NC: 2026:KHC:51260 CRL.P No. 12627 of 2026 6. Accused No.4, who was arrested in the present case, has been granted regular bail by this Court in Crl.P.No.12623/2026 vide order dated 24.08.2026. It is not in dispute that petitioners do not have any other criminal antecedents. Under the circumstances, the following order:- 7. The petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioners in the event of their arrest in Crime No.194/2026 registered by Anekal Police Station, Benglauru, for the offences punishable under Sections 109 read with Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: 1. The Petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- each with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. 2. Petitioners shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010568672026 NC: 2026:KHC:51260 CRL.P No. 12627 of 2026 3. Petitioners shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses and they shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. 4.
