The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Gidhour P.S. Case No.02 of 2025, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 118(2), 109(1), 74, 303(2), 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners happened to be lady members of one of the family and the altercation took place due to land dispute between the parties and both the sides are agnates. He further submits that there are general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners of assault. 2026:JHHC:1944 --2-- A.B.A. No. 393 of 2026 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that serious allegation is there against the petitioners. 5. Looking into the contents of the FIR it transpires that allegation of assault is there against petitioner No.1 namely Mantu Yadav and in that view of the matter I am not inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner No.1 namely Mantu Yadav. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner No.1 namely Mantu Yadav is hereby rejected. 6. So far petitioner Nos.2 to 4 are concerned, they are lady members of the said family and there are general and omnibus allegation against them of assault and in view of that I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner Nos.2 to 4 namely Rekha Devi @ Rekha Kumari, Mamta Devi @ Mamta Kumari and Sanju Devi respectively. 7. Accordingly, the petitioner Nos.2 to 4, above named, are hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of their surrender/arrest, the petitioner Nos.2 to 4, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Chatra in connection with Gidhour P.S.
