1. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there was a business dispute for which the petitioner has been foisted with a criminal case.
2. State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
3. I find from the materials appearing in the Case Diary that the case was registered under Section 316 (2)/318(4) of the BNS both prescribing punishment of less than or up to period of seven years.
4. Considering the nature of the offence the prescribed punishment and the petitioner being a lady I am inclined to

allow the petitioner on anticipatory bail. As such prayer for anticipatory bail of the present petitioner is allowed.
5. As such, I direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Arati Mallick be released on bail by the Investigating Officer/arresting officer of the case on such terms and conditions as it deems fit and proper. This would be subject to the conditions under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C and/or under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
6. Petitioner shall make herself available as and when required by the investigating officer, as and when required for the purposes of investigation of the case.
7. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2966 of 2026 is allowed.
8. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the Official website of this Court.
9. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
